Recently after viewing a friends post on tribe.net my partner and I sat down to watch the streaming video of Zietgiest the movie. At first I was turned off a wee bit by the religious views that were being presented, not that I found anything wrong with what was being said, just that I have read alot, and well grew up a Baptist, who attended church at every opportunity, I was even accepted into the seminary but decided at the last moment to go to college instead, which was a very good thing cause I ended up coming out and having my church, my church that I grew up in kicking me out because I had come clean about being queer. Mind you my years in the church I knew there was something different about me but I had dated girls through high school and such. So at first I took it as attack on the church, but again, my view of the church or churches or organized religion if you prefer is pretty slanted, and these days I see it as an evil crutch for most of society. I won't give out the movie's views on the church but it is certainly enlightening.
The movie than moves on to chat about society, corporations etc. and well I must say it is pretty crazy, as my partner and I talked about the movie we realized what an effect it has on both of us. In my life I have wandered alot and have seen many things that I would not subject many people too, the world is a harsh place when you live on the streets. I find it amazing and have for many years, that most people are sheep, they follow like fools, they don't ask questions, they don't question authority, they just follow. I am hoping that this movie will affect enought people to change to question to look around and see that things are really not as they appear.
That almost every war that has happened has been about making money, nothing more, nothing less, that some of those we have held in high asteem do not deserve to be there, they should not be leading us.
I believe it is time for a revolt, a quiet revolution of change, we need to change, to embrace the earth we live on, to embrace those in need around us, each of us can make a difference, how do I know this, because I have tried to change, and in the process have helped others change thier thought processes.

I watched the movie. 13 times in fact. I only watched the movie that many times because I wanted to memorize all the religious info because it changed my life too. I was never a church goer. Always on the fence about "god". After seeing this movie and hearing religion explained that way and how all of it is a copy of one before it back to the Egyptians etc. I decided that this movie was the deciding factor for my complete and total disbelief in any god. Also that religion is a thing that while it makes some people do good things, more often than not...it makes many people do bad things. Religion separates humans as much as financial status and a million other things. It along with money are the two things that WILL destroy our earth one day. Both cause greed and discrimination and hate more than they cause good and those in power use it to their advantage to gain more power. it's scary. it makes me wish I was 70 years old because then I would be near the end of my life before the real crap starts.
im glad they are showing this movie across the world in universities and colleges. If anyone needs to know the information they provide in this movie it's today & tomorrows professionals.

I have not watched the movie and I don't know what it is like to be condemned from my church for being of an unnatural sexual alignment, but I am in total agreement with you that the sheep will become lemmings if the silent majority remain without a voice.
The Spirit of the World must surely find its direction but it may not be unanimously agreeable by the whole of the generating source.
Being queer is the result of the division you saw in this video...I am suppose to not like you and I could care less about your sexual preferences... as long as its not about me. Clearly you are learning that we are all being divided on purpose and the awakening will start for millions who have been confused in the past about what it all means...life. We are one and all religion needs to be considered a myth of choosing and nothing more. A folklore fairy tale like jack and the bean stalk. Civilizations without controls would be sadly be nothing more that street gangs and at some point we must move to the next level of conscience and realize our true potential as a species on this planet. A quite movement of truths would be welcomed...

Hey Spankymarc and all those who read this. Mj here. I'm 18 and at the moment I'm traveling. There's always been this 'fear' within me to hold onto my freedom. It's turned me into somewhat of an escapist: I live (tried) like there IS no government/political-hives.. There are so many of us with This same song stuck midway within our throats.... but as sheep we are indeed 'shhhh'-ed. FREEDOM is turned into money.. I could carry on. So.. Do we remain silent? Live, under THEIR saisfaction radars? Drink on, what they pour out throught the media.. etc etc. Or speak up? Your voice is fire. Maybe my generation, with all our inner hope, "can be the very ones,that overcomes the greed of corrupt nations." Feed the fire. Let it spread across open fields, over and around our homes, buildings, skyscrapers. Let's fight this cancer.....

This is the biggest scam of them all my friend! when i grew up in texas i was to taught to hate race of another color, and language they speak, along with the poor and gay people, and the bible supposed be about life! Thats not human in any way for that is control of the mind to control others. when james bird was dragged by a chain from a truck speeding down a concrete road which tore his body in half only because his was black and those people believed in religion as well as the black man. Only then i see the religious so called man and they r tyrants of control of the mind.
